Trek Sherpagaon - Khangjim - Syabru Besi

From Sherpagaon the road is still rising and after a while you have and this village quite a bird's eye view

As we ascend to the highest point of the day, we come across a section of road under construction – so dust, small landslides and piles of rocks. In any case, this explains why caravans with mules prefer to walk the upper road

The road along the „road“ runs quickly and after about two hours walk from Sherpagaon you will reach places where the view opens to the main valley of the river Bhote Khosi

Breathtaking is mainly the view of the highest peaks of the Ganesh mountains. On the far right Ganesh I – Yangra (7,422 m above sea level) and in the foreground Ganesh V (6,770 m above sea level). On the left then Ganesh III – Salasungo (7,043 m above sea level). On the other side of the valley – in the foreground of the photo – there is another lookout hill Nagthali, which is also worth a visit

The view from Syabru Besi, 1,200 meters below, is also breathtaking. Super is also the winding road leading to the ridge above Syabru – starting from Ganesh Trek

The path from the vantage point descends through the forest with many vantage points all the way to Tibet, and then the open landscape of fields opens up. The village itself is located in the range of several hundred meters

Khangjim is terribly photogenic – lots of nice fields on the sunny slopes still high above the valley. You will also meet several loggias here, so we stopped at one for lunch and loved the surroundings

The center of Khangjim is scenic. From here, the road continues down the slope to Bridhim, but you must not miss a turn from the village center directly down.

From Khangjim you have a long descent straight down. If you have your knees started on the trek, you will definitely get them here. The path shortens the curves of the road for a long time, so some tourists who prefer a longer route than a steeper descent follow it, but be careful in one place, roughly in the middle of the slope it definitely turns north and heads, as opposed to Syabru, so I recommend following the path although it is sometimes more difficult than the construction of the road disrupted it

the road finally leaves the forest and you can enjoy the last rays of the sun of the day. After the road diverts, the descent is more obvious. The one who goes the trek in the opposite direction will get quite into his body here

The circle closes, we descend to the bridge over the river with a view of Stara Syabra. Now just cross the river, climb to the new city and have a good dinner and beer to celebrate
