In August, my girlfriend and I finally got on the trail of Singltrek pod Smrkem. I bring useful insights for all cyclists who have not been there yet.
You don't need bikes
Even before the ride, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bikes from the local rental shop right next to the trail center. I think that for fair money I got a really great fairy tale from the English brand Orange. So if you don't want to hang out with the bike over half of the republic, don't be afraid to use this service. However, I recommend early online booking, especially for the whole world. Unfortunately, they do not have enough of them.
Plenty of trips for 2 days
If you are a more experienced rider who does not despise even the black trail, I definitely recommend staying at least one night. In one day I did not have time to go through everything. A total of about 60 kilometers of roads await here. It is interesting at this location to connect with the Polish side, where there is a similar network as well! However, do not forget about travel insurance here, so that you are not surprised in case of a medical emergency for a bill for a Polish helicopter :) The quality of the trails was fine for me. However, more fun trails for my riding style are definitely Trutnov Trails and Rychlebské stezky, where they recently completed a new track, which I'm already looking forward to.

This place has one more charm. In the end, a great pond will be waiting for you. Does a person need anything else to be happy?
