Hostels
I recommend cheap and clean accommodation in Thamel: http://www.annapurnaguesthouse.com/tariff.php It can be obtained for 5USD / person / wifi + toilet + shower in the room
Campgrounds
I have not seen classic campsites or tent places here, but probably those who are looking will find it.
Camping
You no longer need your own tent on this trek. In the last village in front of the saddle – Dharmasaala – tents (including mattresses) are already set up and serve tourists. Although I wore my own mat all the time, I used it for the first time here.
Private accommodation
All nights we slept with the locals (but in rooms designed for tourists). We imagined a classic home-stay too idyllic, and in the end I actually realized that they don't have classic houses and rooms like us and that sleeping with them would be really problematic. We paid an average of 500 Rs./3 pers. throughout.
