Hike from Libštát

We start the tour directly from the square in Libštát, where you can park comfortably. There is nothing to see except the statue of the Virgin Mary. We are still following the red tourist route in the direction of Jilemnice

In a moment we have a view of the rather desolate church of St. Jiří (there are quite a lot of those derelict buildings in Libštát)

After three quarters of a kilometer of gradual ascent, we will pass a modified new building after a long time. A short distance behind it we will leave the red tourist route and turn right along the cycle route 4294

After another ten minutes we walk to solitude with a picturesque cottage. The region is slowly beginning to open and gradually offer views

We slowly come to the crossroads and a view of Tábor opens up to us, which is almost 200 meters higher than the local hills.

This is followed by a slightly duller section through the forest, which gets a lot to take from lumberjacks before we finally show up on the edge of Svojka (about 3 km from Libštát).

From the western edge of Svojka we climb along a pleasant path with a nice view of Kumburk. If you want to climb to the highest point of this circuit you have to enter the field, a few tens of meters from the road

The top of the hill is quite flat, there is also a runway, but the view is still nice. For the first time on this circuit you can see the Giant Mountains on the horizon

We come to the crossroads of the Končiny cycle routes. From here there is a view down to the route we took a few tens of minutes ago

We continue to the second today's peak in the Krkonoše foothills, V Končinách. Landscape as on an old Windows wallpaper

Even for the second peak, you have to throw yourself into the vegetation. The view of the Giant Mountains is also nice from here

The Giant Mountains are about 25 km as the crow flies

Now we are back on the red hiking trail along which we will practically just descend back to Libštát. This cottage is also on the way to a Slavic fan

We descend through a picturesque landscape along a narrow road

The circle closes slowly, we approach the big ratejna, where we left the red route. Libstat is below us in the valley. The whole circuit has about 8km and an elevation gain of 170 meters, so an easy and comfortable walk for 2 hours
