Basically, the only trip you can take from Mazunte is a two-hour cruise along the coast. You will see turtles, dolphins and, with a little luck, maybe a whale. In addition, nice bays and the wreckage of a plane of drug smugglers. If you stop on the road in Mexico in Mazunte, be sure to take this cruise

Sailing along the coast

It starts right on the beach in Mazunte and sails first along the beautiful coast east around San Agustinillo, Zipolite to almost Puerta Angel

Cruise ships

The trip itself is in a speedboat for 6–9 tourists, so it's not such a massacre

White Rock at Mazunte

Another attraction of the trip is the solitary cliffs, completely white with bird guano. Beware of birds, there are really hundreds of them and it doesn't just matter on the rock – the most risky place for a trip :-)

Zipolite beach

Near the cliff is another popular beach Zipolite

Cruise for animals

After a tour of the White Rock, the captain turns to the high seas and goes to chase sea animals

Turtles and dolphins around Mazunte

It didn't take long to come across turtles and dolphins. The guide even caught one for a photo shoot with tourists, which was probably not entirely correct

Cometa Peninsula

The cruise continues west to Mazunte, past the rocky peninsula of Cometa. There is already a larger wilderness, secluded beaches, cliffs and probably only two settlements – a tip for accommodation for those who want to have real peace

The wreckage of Grumman Albatross

After circumnavigating the Cometa Peninsula, an endless beach more than 30 kilometers long begins without interesting surroundings. Only mountains can be seen on the horizon. It's sailing here just because of the wreckage of a drug smuggler's plane
