In the lowlands north of the mighty Ruwenzori Mountains, you will find the rest of the tropical rainforest in an otherwise heavily deforested landscape – Semuliki National Park. The Semliki River makes the natural border between Uganda and Congo here. The park also has hot springs and a range of monkey and bird species. The starting point for the national park is the town of Fort Portal, 50 kilometers away
