At the western end of Uganda is the extensive Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park includes two large lakes belonging to the Great Rift Valley (Lake George and Lake Edward) The lake is connected by the Kazinga Canal, a popular destination for Safari lovers. The park borders the huge Virunga National Park on the Congolese side of the border. The park is famous for its huge concentration of hippos.
