City with a monumental town hall
The county town of Liberec is known mainly thanks to the nearby Ještěd, probably with the most famous mountain building in the Czech Republic. The town is situated in a picturesque location below the Jizera Mountains. The most famous building of the city is a truly monumental town hall. Besides this, you will find a number of interesting first-republic villas, a chateau and a nice building of the North Bohemian Museum.
