The Sázava River is one of the longest rivers in the Czech Republic with 226km. Even in the 13th century this name bore the river Želivka. Probably the reason was inaccurate maps. The tramps call it the Golden River. Sázava spring rises from the largest pond in the Highlands – Great Dářko, but many geodesists are wondering here, which spring is the right one. Because there are three culverts from Great Dářko.
