Historic town above Chrudimka
Town Chrudim is a bit in the shadow of its big neighbor Pardubice, but it offers visitors an interesting historical center located mainly around Ressel Square. Nice town houses are dominated by the old town hall and mainly by monumental Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Nice is the location of the town on a hill above the river Chrudimka, where is still well-preserved mill with rotating wheel.

At the very end of Siroka Street is regional museum.

The park behind the church with the statue of Jan Hus contrasts with busy Ressel Square.
