Starting point to the Western Giant Mountains
Horní Rokytnice is not only a ski resort below Lysá hora, but also an interesting tourist destination in the Western Giant Mountains. The most popular route leads along the blue tourist sign around the Huťský waterfall to Dvoračky and then further into the interior of the Giant Mountains
March through Horní Rokytnice
From the center of Horní Rokytnice, a blue hiking trail leads around the football field and go-kart track and the levers continue along the picturesque cottages slowly upwards. So far on a narrow asphalt road.
Above Horní Rokytnice
After a while of walking, a pretty nice view back begins to open.
Road to Huťský waterfall
The road enters the forest and you will pass a secluded cottage only here and there. You are slowly approaching, still on the asphalt road, the local attraction – Huťský waterfall
Hut waterfall
Huťský waterfall is a small cascade several meters away. It has more water in the spring when the snow melts, or after longer rains, otherwise it is not very pronounced.

For me, this walk had a charm mainly due to the beautiful autumn-colored beech forest.
Crossroads at Huťský stream
From Huťský waterfall, the road climbs steeper. In a moment you are at the crossroads of Huťský potok right next to the cottage Huťská bouda
Ascent to the saddle below Dvoracky
The steepest ascent from the whole tour awaits you from the crossroads – it is about 20 minutes to the saddle below Dvoracky.

Just in front of the saddle, the first view of the Giant Mountains opens up
Final ascent to Dvoracky
From the saddle it is still a hundred meters high to Dvoračky, but it is the most picturesque part of this hike – nice views of the region and the surrounding meadows begin to open up.
Dvoracky
After less than two hours and 500 meters of altitude, you are here at Dvoračky. There are two cottages next to each other and incredible tourism. After a few people you've met so far, quite a change. The local terrace is famous for its beautiful views of the region. You can go back on another route or better continue even higher into the mountains
