The Eagle's Nest is a café that Adolf Hitler himself received for his 50th birthday. It is located in Berchtesgaden, the very heart of Bavaria. From spring to autumn, this place is frequently visited by tourists who get here by bus and gilded elevator. If you go to the Kehlsteinhaus out of season and go all the way to the top, you can sleep on the terrace of the café and experience the beautiful sunset and sunrise all by yourself.

Road to Kehlsteinhaus

The pedestrian road is closed during the season. However, outside of it, when buses do not run here, it is not a problem to walk it. At most, you will meet workers who are preparing the area for the season. You can also go to the Eagle's Nest on a hiking trail. However, it is exceptionally worthwhile to go along the road, from which there are beautiful views of the Berchtesgaden Alps.

Sunrise

The rising sun together with the Eagle's Nest cannot be photographed, but that does not detract from its beauty.
