Žilina is a regional town located in the Váh valley. There are several protected areas and the Malá Fatra National Park around the town. The main monument of the city is the Holy Trinity Cathedral. Nice is also a large Marian Square. After the river Váh on the northern outskirts of the city is a nice Budatín Castle.
