Sixty kilometers long Ještědsko-Kozákovský ridge works mainly as a perfect outlook of a lot of other beautiful areas of the northern part of the Czech Republic (the highest mountains in the state – Giant Mountains, Jizera and Lusatian mountains, or fairy Czech Paradise). In addition, a marked hiking trail leads across the whole ridge except for a small part by Hodkovice nad Mohelkou. Only a few people undertake complete two or three days (with side trips) crossing of the ridge and it is a real shame.
