One of the most important monuments located in the Polish Krkonoše Mountains is the Wang wooden church. It comes from the Norwegian town of Vang, where they wanted to dismantle it and sell it as firewood. In the end, it was saved and moved to Karpacz, where it became a place of pilgrimage and one of the most important attractions of the city. A stone tower has been added to the original wooden building. There is also a very nice view of the mountains from the church.
