Wachsender Felsen is a small rock formation about 2 km from the Lower Bavarian town of Landau an der Isar. It is interesting in that after its ridge, water containing limestone flows in a small groove. Pieces of limestone stick to the bed of this stream and actually build a rock. It grew in about 5,000 years to a height of 5 meters and a length of 40 meters.
