A place that humbles the power of the wa
Via Mala is located near the town of Zillis. In earlier times, it served as an access road to the Alps. Her name – Via mala („The Bad Way“) – testifies to the fact that this was a very dangerous stretch of travel. The gorge is created by the Hinterrhein River, which is one of the two main tributaries of the Rhine.
