Place Stevns Klint

The 15 km long cliff on the east coast of the island of Zealand has been on the UNESCO list since 2014. The height of the cliff usually does not exceed 40 m and thus does not reach three times the height of the cliffs on the island of Møn. On the other hand, there is a very remarkable event that took place at the end of the Mesozoic – the impact of an asteroid, which ultimately caused the extinction of dinosaurs – is visible directly in the cliff wall. In addition, black flint, which has served people as a tool-making material for millennia, is rolling everywhere.
