The 2681 meters high Faulhorn mountain is located in the Bernese Oberland between Lake Brienz and the town of Grindelwald. There are several hiking trails to ascend to the summit with spectacular panoramic views of the surroundings. Since 1830, the Berghotel Faulhorn has been just below the summit.
