The alpine hut Mönchsjochhütte stands on a rock, southeast of the foot of Mönch, at an altitude of 3657 meters above sea level. It is one of the highest alpine huts used all year round. Its terrace offers spectacular views of the UNESCO-protected Jungfrau-Aletsch area. The hut is accessible by a marked trail from the Jungfraujoch pass.
