The Čeřovka hill (331 m above sea level) located at the northern end of Jičín would not normally be of interest to tourists at all. The low volcano overgrown with oak beech forest is more of a recreational place for locals. At the top, however, stands the oldest lookout tower in the Bohemian Paradise – the picturesque Milohlídka. However, the view from it is limited only to the southwest, because it has long been overgrown with massive trees. Directly below the mill is a former huge quarry, where there was an open-air theater during the First Republic.
