Almost half a kilometer long, semicircular cove to the south of the town Sigri is home to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Lesbos. There is a nice sand as well as the wonderful views of both the nearby island Nissiopi that protects the local port, and especially of the Turkish fortress of Sigri.
