Walk Troskovice - castle Trosky

From Troskovice, the road climbs slightly along the road with constant views of Trosky and Vyskeř further on the west. On weekends and in the summer, this road is quite busy, so the march at this time may not be completely pleasant. After less than a kilometer you will come to a crossroads. A red marked tourist path connects Trosky through the settlement of Tachov with the Podtrosecký valley. Here you turn right and climb to the parking lots under the castle. Above the treetops there are two lighthouses rising basalt peaks Baba and Panna.

The parking lot under the castle is bustling, because there is also a hotel and restaurant Trosky. If you want to visit the castle, which is almost a natural option, then you will have about 300 meters of climbing through the forest. After a tour of Trosky Castle, head back to Hotel Trosky, from where you descend along a marked hiking trail between cow meadows. After you reach the crossroads, where the marked roads turn sharply to the left, you leave them and go right, directly to Troskovice.
