At the very northeastern outpost of island Milos is a very nice town Pollonia embracing the beautiful cove, ideal for all lovers of swimming without waves. Along the southern part of the bay lies the old center with church and numerous tavernas overlooking the sea. On the north side there are apartment houses and the outpost is ended by another small church with a nice view of the neighboring island Kimolos (only a kilometer away).

Beach in Pollonia

Beach in Pollonia is about three hundred meters long and has a really nice entry into the water. Although you will certainly do not feel here like in a wilderness, but the adjacent part of the old town with a church looks very romantic. If you do not have a beach umbrella, you may use the shade under the numerous trees that line the beach.
