One of the most important mosques in Amman was built recently between the years 1982–1989. You can see it during the walk from the historic part of the city to the modern part. It is approx. 2,5 kilometers away from the roman theatre in the city center. In the mosque are also several exhibits dealing with the history of royal family.

At the mosque

King Abdullah mosque is situated by one of the busy boulevards connecting the old town with new buildings in the west.
