Area North Jordan

North Jordan, compared to the South, has no such tourist attraction, but still you will find a number of interesting places. The biggest attraction is, of course, the Dead Sea, the lowest located basin on Earth's land. For lovers of hiking there are canyons leading from mountains to the Dead Sea. The most famous of them is Wadi Mujib. Furthermore, there are a number of monuments to the ancient Roman empire, both in the capital of the country of Amman, and especially in beautiful Jerash.
