The first important square of the city is Plaza Fuente Arriba, where there is a very nice town hall with a clock (casa consistorial)

The city has basically built a hill, so somewhere you are walking on a plain, some are houses on a steep slope. In the view you can see the main destination of the tour – the castle

We come to the main square – Plaza Baja with the largest church in the city. This is in contrast to the surrounding houses, as it does not have a white facade.

The road still leads along a good path between the houses

Take Calle Ancha Street directly below the castle. There is also a small parking lot, so the daredevils, who do not want to pedal, can basically reach the gate of the castle

More than the whole castle, I liked the view from it to the Valle del Guadalhorce

From the castle it is beautiful to see that Alora is not a village, but a pretty decent town. Hacho Hill rises directly above the northwestern end of the city

The castle itself is rather below average in competition with other castles in Andalusia
