Trutnov is a relatively large district town below the Giant Mountains located on the river Upa. You will be interested in the historical center around Krakonoš Square. You can go for a walk to the top of Šibeník (506 m above sea level), through which leads an educational trail related to the Prussian-Austrian war of 1866

Krakonoš Brewery

You can start your tour of Trutnov directly opposite one of the city's landmarks – the Krakonoš brewery. There is a large car park and the city center is just a short walk away.
