A total of five mineral springs spring up in the interior of the largest colonnade in Karlovy Vary: Mlýnský spring, Rusalka spring, Prince Václav's spring, Libuše spring and Skalní spring.

Mill Colonnade

Today's pseudo-Renaissance stone colonnade was built in the years 1871 – 1881 according to the project of the excellent Czech architect Josef Zítek. The ceremonial opening of the Mill Colonnade took place as part of the beginning of the spa season on June 5, 1881. The attic of the colonnade is complemented by twelve sandstone allegorical sculptures by sculptors Alfred Schreiber and Karel Wilfert, representing the individual months of the year.
