The city of Karlovy Vary is located in western Bohemia, in the Karlovy Vary region named after this city. It is also referred to as a regional and statutory city and sits at the confluence of the Ohře and Teplá rivers. It is the most visited Czech spa town. Since 2021, it has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List under the item Famous Spa Cities of Europe. A walk around the colonnade or a visit to the city during the summer film festival is recommended by everyone who has visited the city.
