In the north-west of Lanzarote is the village of Famara, which stretches for 5 km of sandy beach. From here, the terrain rises to steep cliffs. There are several paths between them and the ocean.

Sand dunes

Famara Bungalows

Witness of the past

The carriage gains altitude meters and with them opens a view of the coast. On the right appears the ruins of a building, perhaps a small church, who knows. I always have the question, what was the history of this place and the people who belonged to it?

Atlantic coast

Coast

The road along the Atlantic back to Famara Bungalows closes this small circuit. Many people are not here, for ordinary tourists it is a bit out of hand.

Famara Bungalows

The objects on the coast are really in close contact with the beach and sand dunes. For a snack, head back a few hundred meters to Caleta de Famara.
