Canaima is the starting point for a boat trip to Salto Angel Waterfall. At the same time, it is a very beautifully situated village by a picturesque lagoon with several waterfalls and, as a bonus, a view of the Table Mountains.

If we do not count the local airport, the center of life in Canaima is the beautiful lagoon overlooking the waterfalls and table mountains.

The subsoil is colorful here, so the water also has a quite interesting color. You can bathe here without fear that the river will take you somewhere to the waterfall.

Salto Ucaima Waterfall

The lagoon includes three waterfalls – Salto Ucaima, Salto Golondrina and Salto Hacha. However, since they are quite next to each other, no one really solves which is which. The main thing is that they are nice.
