Just a kilometer and a half north of the tourist-frequented island of Ko Lipe, you will find its opposite – the vast island of Ko Adang, which is almost entirely covered by lush jungle. Unlike the flat island of Ko Lipe with its many beaches, Ko Adang has been saved from urbanization by the fact that it does not have many beaches and is very mountainous. You will find only one hotel , Adang Island Resort, and a camp with the national park rangers. But there are several jungle trails that are definitely worth a visit, and two of its beaches are located in the south of the island within easy reach of a boat taxi.
