Almost every tourist who travels in southwestern Bolivia will visit Uyuni (3,675 m above sea level) – a cool, windy and dusty city located on the Altiplano plateau just a few kilometers from the largest salar of the same name in the world. Basically, there is almost nothing to see and the surroundings, apart from the Cemetery of trains, do not offer much. In any case, it is the most tactical place to arrange amazing several-day trips around this volcanic part of the country.
