The largest city in Andalusia
Seville is the capital of Andalusia with more than a million inhabitants. Together with Cordoba and Granada, it is one of the most visited cities in southern Spain. Tourists are attracted here by huge cathedral with the famous Giralda minaret, the Royal Palace, interesting Plaza de Espana. Several sources claim that the highest temperature in Europe – about 50 degrees Celsius – has been measured in Seville. In addition, there are huge crowds of tourists in the off-season.
