Almost every visitor to Bolivia passes through road pass La Cumbre (4 660 m asl). Hikers set out from here to the famous El Choro trek, cyclists to the famous road of death and nature lovers to the Bolivian Amazon. Asphalt road leading through this pass is a vital link between the capital city of La Paz and the eastern part of the country. The pass itself is a large upland plain with a nice lagoon Estrellani.
