Place Kačina Castle

Kačina Castle is located only 13 km from Kutna Hora. It is unique among the Czech castles – it is the most important building of Empire architecture in Bohemia. The castle was built by Jan Rudolf Chotek as a summer residence in 1806–1824. There are 5 tours in the castle, during which you can visit the chateau interiors, the chateau library, the theater, or the pharmacy. You can also visit the greenhouse, the herb garden and, of course, the castle park.
