Just next to the famous Chorro gorge there is another natural jewel – the Conde de Guadalhorce Dam. The landscape around it changes quite quickly its character from the typical Andalusian landscape with olive trees and fields to the countryside that would drop out of its eye to some national park in Canada. There are excellent opportunities for hiking around the surrounding mountains or recreation at the dam.
