About 8 km north of the town of Sedlčany there is a lookout in the rocks with an interesting history.

Religious inscriptions

At the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, a persecuted sect of „Nicholas“ hid in these places. Apparently they carved reliefs of the sun, stars and Latin, Czech (still with carriages) and German 4 – 5 cm high religious inscriptions into the rock. Unfortunately, historical inscriptions are damaged by unknown vandals.

Stream Mastník

From the viewpoint there is a nice view of the Mastník stream, which flows into the Vltava after 47 km of flow. The stream is already blown in these places by the Slapy dam reservoir.

Trail to the lookout

A yellow marked tourist path leads from Nahorub to a place in the middle of the rocks. The last section to the lookout is quite steep.
