Wadi Rum Desert II.

Growing trees can be counted on the fingers of one hand in the area of ​​Wadi Rum. This creates a nice contrast with the monumental arid landscape.

The circuit turns dramatically to the south at the monumental mountain in the form of pyramids. Alternatively, however, you can also go to the north and visit for example Burrah canyon.

Numerous camels attribute strongly to the classic local scenery here.

After less than three kilometers drive to the south you come to „Lawrence House,“ which is only such a “fence”. But view from it is quite nice. Pyramidal mountain is still visible.

Another attraction in Wadi Rum is going down the huge dunes, or rather gracefully slipping down.

On the way to natural bridges you are going through plain covered with interesting eroded rock formations.

Jeep serves here as a monumentality benchmark with the local mountains and rock formations.

Mesa Burdah is completely in the southeastern outpost than where normally tours are going. Mountains panoramas are very nice from it. If you are interested, you may continue for about 20 km further to the south almost to the border with Saudi Arabia and try to conquer the highest mountain in Jordan – Um Ad Dami or have a small hike to the mountain Burdah with natural bridge almost at the top.
