Picturesque port of Samos
The picturesque port village of Ormos is located in the southwestern part of the island of Samos. It used to be a port for the village of Marathokampos, high in the hills above the sea. Now you will find a nice church and several taverns made for dinner overlooking the sea
Coast west of Ormos
If you approach Ormos from the west you will drive along the picturesque coast. Just in front of the city is a nice bay with a deserted beach, unfortunately hard to reach.

The main monument of the town is the church of Agios Nikolaos, which rises above the town. On the horizon you can see a mountain massif rising more than 750 meters above sea level
