There are two beaches named Psili Amos on Samos. This one in the very southeast of the island is the better known. You will find it at the end of the road leading here from the town of Mykali. From the beach there is a beautiful view of the Dilek ridge reaching heights of over 1200 meters above sea level. There is a gradual entry into the sea, making it an ideal place for families with children. About half of the beach is organized and the other without sunbeds is beautifully free.

They wrote Amos the western part

Psili Amos is over two hundred meters long beach located in an arched bay. Its western part is busy – there are sunbeds, taverns and the closest to the parking lot

Along the coast

Even further west are several apartment houses, small piers with access to moored motorboats. But you can continue in this direction a few tens of meters. But you will find some nice prospects here

View of Dilek Tepe (1222 m)

One of the reasons to go to this beach is the beautiful view across the narrow strait separating Samos from Turkey to the mountain ridge with the top of Dilek Tepe. This whole mountain range belongs to the national park Dilek Yarımadası – Büyük Menderes Milli Parkı

View directly from the beach

There is fine sand, a gradual entry and relatively warm water on Samos. Really perfect place for a trip with children.
