Gran Chaco is a very large flat area with a size more than 10 times larger than the Czech Republic. It is located in northern Argentina, southern Bolivia and the western part of Paraguay. There are savannas, wetlands and sparse forest. There are large pastures of cattle. There are not many points of interest in the area outside the hard-to-reach Parque Nacional Chaco, Copo and el Impenetrable. The area can be easily viewed only on long-distance bus lines

Resistance

The starting point for the Gran Chaca crossing is the town of Resistencia. The bus to Salta, which is 820 km away, departs at 17:45.
