Lagoon Cullicocha

Finally, you are at the destination of this difficult stage (especially if you've set out for a side trip to the lagoon Yuraccocha). The surroundings of lagoon Cullicocha (4 620m asl) is charming, especially at sunset when the surrounding glacier-covered mountains turn red. But only in good weather. Otherwise, there is very harsh, windy and it quite often not only rains, but also snows and hail fall.
