Dry rocks, also known as Kantor's organ, are a popular destination for climbers. There are significantly fewer tourists, as there is no marked route leading directly to the rocks. However, a well-trodden path leads from both sides of the rock ridge, so you can see the rocks without being a climber.

Ascent from Malá Skála

If you set off on this hike from Malá Skála, a nice hike up the hill awaits you. From the end of Malá Skála you have a nice view of the rocky peaks

Road under Suché skály

In places where the blue marked hiking trail detaches from the road, you can see the footpath through a meadow leading directly to the rocks. Stick to this path and shorten one long bend in the road. From there, a clear footpath leads through the forest directly to the first rock towers.

Footpath under Dry Rocks

A footpath runs along the entire ridge of the rocks. Expect to keep your head bowed, because thanks to the forest it is not possible to get more distance without disturbing the branches in the view

The ideal time for this walk is in the afternoon, when the rocks are ideally lit by the sun.

Climb the ladders to the ridge of rocks

In many places here you will find ladders that make it possible for climbers to get on the rocks. One of them will take you to the ridge itself – a great experience and views

The top of the rock tower

From the ridge you can continue along the footpath on the north side of the rocks. But here it is better to be in the morning otherwise you have rocks in the shade. On this side, the peaks exceed you significantly less than from the south

Further east, the rocks are shrinking and after a while you will come across a blue hiking trail. After it, you can either return to Malá Skála or continue and extend the trip by the lookout hill Sokol
