A new addition to UNESCO
Driving one of the most beautiful places I have visited, located in the central part of Iran, was rightly inscribed in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage in 2017.
Basic information
Via Jazd
Yazd is located 620 km south of Tehran and is located on the most famous tourist route through Iran (Esfahan – Yazd – Shiraz). You can get there comfortably from Tehran by means of VIP buses, the price of which on this route in 2015 and outside the tourist season was approximately 13 euros. There are no photos of the top tourist attractions in the article, because I usually avoid them while traveling.
Night arrival
We come to the city at night, but right from the beginning there was a very nicely lit mosque near our hotel.
Hotel
We live in one of the historic hotels, where in the middle there is such a small courtyard with trees for a pleasant rest during the greatest heat. Accommodation in historic hotels I can only recommend of course are breakfast and unlimited tea throughout the day in the price.

The only place where the children didn't have fun was just a playground, we don't understand why
Sandstorm
There are very frequent sandstorms in the area, when life in the whole city stops for a few minutes, fortunately we only experienced this from the roof of the hotel.

Refrigerator
Medieval (perhaps even older) refrigerator where in the past the locals stored food, the towers located there serve as air conditioning.

Museum
Museum of the first monotheistic religion of Zoroastrianism.
Sacred fire
The sacred Zoroastrian fire, which has been burning for several thousand years and can never stop burning, is specific in that no one but the high priests can add wood to it, and they must have a veil so as not to desecrate the fire with their breath, and can only be added there. consecrated wood.

The Zoroastrian symbol is found in a large number of public buildings, including schools, banks and offices.
The Great Mosque
The largest mosque in the city, at the entrance there is also a security check.
Botanic Garden
Botanical garden, whose greatest specificity was that there was not a single blooming flower.

Despite the fact that there was no flower, it was very pleasant to walk among the trees, next to the water in a pleasant shade.
Bonus
The ruins of one of the historic hotels, where we inadvertently entered, but we examined it very well again.
