Nizwa Castle is one of the most visited castles in Oman. If you are lucky, there will be a local celebration. There are also scenes from historical life in Oman. From the local monumental bastion there are beautiful views of the city and the surrounding mountains

Visit Nizwa Castle on International Remembrance Day

Coincidentally, we were here on the day of International Memorial Day. Admission was free and hosted a cultural program depicting traditional Omani culture
