The most famous island of the Mediterranean
Santorini is actually the name for the entire small archipelago. The largest of these is Thera. All these islands are the remains of one large island scattered by a huge volcanic eruption that has changed the history by destruction of civilizations, perhaps including the legendary Atlantis. Today is extremely visited by turist and is one of the most famous places in Greece
