The bridge is more than 500 meters long and was built in places where both the Romans and the Turks crossed the Danube. It connects Esztrego with Slovak Štúrov. The state border is exactly in the middle. From the bridge there is a beautiful view of the cathedral and of course the Danube. The bridge was destroyed several times, most recently by the Germans during their retreat.
