Place Cuzco

Cuzco (often also written as Cusco) has almost half a million inhabitants. It is, in fact, the largest tourist center of Perú. Almost every tourist who visits this country will come here as well, because it is the starting point for perhaps the most famous monument of South America – Machu Picchu. The city itself is worth a visit, thanks to its beautiful colonial churches and an interesting location in the valley surrounded by high hills.
